ELECTION NOTIFICATION FOR THE YEAR 2025-26

Nominations are invited for the following posts as per the constitution of ISSP:

President Elect One Post Tenure – 1 Year Eligibility –

  • He/She should be a life member of ISSP for last 10 years
  • The candidate should have served the Society as a GC member for one full term of three years.
  • He/She Should have attended three (3) AGBM’s in the past five (5) years.
  • He/She Should be an IASP member
Vice President One Post Tenure – 1 Year Eligibility –

  • He/She Should be a life member of ISSP for a minimum period of ten (10) years.
  • The candidate should have served the Society as a GC member for one full term of three years.
  • He/She Should have attended three (3) AGBM’s in the past five (5) years.
  • He/She Should be an IASP member.
Hon. Secretary One Post Tenure – 3Year Eligibility –

  • The candidate should have served the Society as a GC member for one full term of three years.
  • He/She Should have attended three (3) AGBM’s in the past five (5) years.
  • He/She Should be IASP member.
Treasurer One Post  Tenure – 3 Year
 Eligibility –

  • He/She Should be a life member of ISSP for a minimum period of five (5) years.
  • He/She Should have attended two (2) AGBM’s in the past five (5) years.
  • He/She Should be IASP member.
Joint Secretary One Post  Tenure – 3 Year Eligibility –

  • The candidate should have served the Society as a GC member for one full term of three years.
  • He/She Should have attended three (3) AGBM’s in the past five (5) years.
  • He/She Should be an IASP member.
Editor One Post  Tenure – 3 Year
 Shall be selected by the GC after scrutiny by a team of President/ Vice-President/Hon. Secretary/Editor & the senior most GC member.

Eligibility –

  • He/ She should send nomination for the post of Editor.
  • He/ She should be a life member of ISSP for the last 5 years.
  • He/ She should have attended at least three (3) AGBM’s in the last five (5) years.
  • He/ She should be an IASP member.
  • Editor’s application should accompany academic accomplishments like papers,
    publications, editorial experiences, contribution to ISSP and any other academic experiences.
ISSP Governing Council Member Three Post Tenure – 3 Year Eligibility –

  • He/She should be a life member of ISSP for a minimum period of (5) years.
  • He/She Should have attended (2) AGBM’s in the past (3) years.
  • He/She Should be an IASP member.
IAPM Registrar One Post Tenure – 3 Year Eligibility –

  • He/ She should have served the Society as a GC member for one full term of three years.
  • He/ She should have 5 publications on pain in indexed journal.
  • He/ She should have attended three (3) AGBM’s in the past five (5) years.
  • He/ She should be IASP member.
  • He/ She should be FIAPM qualified.Please Note: The desired criteria: Teaching Experience
IAPM Governing Council Member Two Post Tenure – 3 Year Eligibility –

  • He/She Should be a life member of ISSP for a minimum period of Five (5) years.
  • He/ She should have attended two (2) AGBM’s in the past three (3) years.
  • He/ She should have 2 publications on pain in indexed journal.
  • He/She Should be IASP member.
  • He/She Should have FIAPM qualified.

Note: First two positions will be selected for 3 year tenure and next one for 2 year tenure
